Light and Easy Lasagna

This is another Shabbos favorite, usually served for lunch. Who needs cholent at 11 AM?

Light and Easy Lasagna

1 pound light cream cheese

1 pound cottage cheese

1 jar pasta sauce

1 egg

1 pack lasagna noodles

  1. Mix all ingredients except lasagna noodles.
  2. Grease a rectangular ovenproof dish and spread a thin layer of  cheese mixture. Cover with lasagna noodles, making sure they don’t overlap.
  3. Continue alternating cheese and lasagna layers, ending with cheese.
  4. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 45 minutes until firm, but not dry.
